The Home of
Persian Tea
The Persian RitualIn Iran, tea is never
only tea.
It is the first thing offered to a guest and the last reason to stay. We built Black Gold for that moment, a blend worthy of the ceremony around it.
No dust, no shortcuts, no filler. Only long, dark, wiry whole leaf, blended from three low-grown Ceylon estates and lifted with bergamot, bitter orange, and neroli. The cup runs coppery-orange to deep red, aromatic and quietly luxurious. Strong enough to sip all day, refined enough to serve to the people who matter most.
The top 1% of Ceylon's
whole-leaf black tea.
We don't buy by the ton. We buy by the leaf. Every harvest is hand-graded, and only the finest one percent of low-grown Ceylon, drawn from three estates, ever becomes Black Gold. You taste it in the first glass: cleaner, brighter, deeper. This is premium, uncompromised.
The whole set,
or a single pour.

The Collection
All three expressions in one gold-foiled box — the original Earl Grey, the minted Earl Grey, and Rose & Cardamom, each in its own 4 oz tin. The Persian table, boxed to give.

Earl Grey
Our signature blend of the top one percent of low-grown Ceylon, drawn from three estates and lifted with bergamot, bitter orange, and neroli. Whole leaf, coppery in the glass, full and aromatic on the tongue. The most luxurious Persian tea you can pour.

Mint
The signature Black Gold Earl Grey, finished with cool mint — bergamot, bitter orange, and neroli over whole-leaf Ceylon, then a clean minted lift. Bright, aromatic, and endlessly drinkable.

Rose & Cardamom
The same Black Gold base, its bergamot, bitter orange, and neroli married to whole green cardamom pods and Persian rose petals. Floral, warming, and faintly sweet before a single grain of sugar. The cup that turns an afternoon into an occasion.

Three estates,
one signature blend
The Low Country
Grown below 2,000 ft in the low country of Sri Lanka, where the leaf grows bold, dark, and full-bodied. This is the base that stands up to bergamot, cardamom, and rose.
Whole Leaf Only
Long, dark, wiry whole leaf, never broken into dust. The grade you can see in the box and taste in the glass.
Three Estates, One Blend
We blend the top one percent from three Ceylon estates, then lift it with bergamot, bitter orange, and neroli. Blended and packed for Black Gold, sealed in gold foil between uses.
To pour a glass is
to say: stay.
Boil & Bloom
Bring fresh water to a rolling boil. Warm the pot, then add one teaspoon of whole leaf per cup.
Steep Strong
Steep 4–5 minutes over the samovar. The brew should run deep red. This is the concentrated dam.
Pour & Dilute
Pour a measure of dam into the glass, then top with hot water to the strength each guest prefers.
Serve with Love
Offer with a sugar cube held on the tongue, dates, or a wedge of citrus. Then simply, stay.
